VENUES & PROMOTERS NOMINATIONS

1. Who can nominate?

Any Independent Venue or Promoter of live music based in the UK. Any promoter or live music venue outside of the UK can nominate an artist for the best International Award.

2. Who is eligible?

Artists are eligible if they are unsigned or signed to an independent label or their own label. They are not eligible if they were signed to any of the major record labels or their subsidiaries in 2007. Artists must perform their own original material.

3. Artists who have been nominated, short listed or won in previous awards can be re-nominated.

4. How many artists can I nominate?

Venues can nominate 4 artists per venue. If you are a promoter that works with more than one venue you can nominate 4 artists for each venue you promote.

5. How do I make my nominations?

Please register first here. You will then be sent a confirmation email to make your nominations.

6. When do I need to make nominations by?

Nominations must be made by the end of February 2008.

PUBLIC VOTING

Voting is free however we do ask voters to register with us first. Emails will not be sold on to third parties but we will allow limited use of our database to sponsors and suppliers. Artists will be supplied with downloadable banners, flyers, logos etc to help them encourage fan voting.

Voting is limited to one vote per email address.

NOMINATED ARTISTS

Nominated artists must agree to partake in any publicity or promotional activity to help the success of the awards. While we may film and record the event for broadcast and publicity purposes all IP, PRS and MCPS rights regarding songs and performances will remain with the artist.

INDUSTRY PANEL

An industry panel of music experts will decide on the winning artist in each award category. The shortlist of 4 artists per category will be decided on the basis of most votes. The Industry Panel decision is final.
